World Expeditions is Australia’s original adventure travel company.

Our heritage dates back to 1975 when we launched trekking holidays in Nepal. In the following years we expanded our operations into other Himalayan destinations, as well as South America, Asia, Africa and Australia, with a long list of pioneering firsts including the first to offer cycling trips in India, China and Vietnam.

Our philosophy of providing high quality, BIG adventures with a small footprint was most recently recognised in 2019 when we were named the Adventure Travel Wholesaler of the Year at The Travel Awards.
